Vitals Hub

About Vitals Hub

Vitals Hub publishes practical, evidence-based guides on health, nutrition, fitness, and the equipment that supports an active life. Here is how the site works, how its guides are researched, and who writes them.

What Vitals Hub is

Vitals Hub is a growing library of practical guides on healthy living: everyday health and wellbeing, nutrition, fitness, and the gear that supports an active life. A small set of interactive calculators supports the guides, but the written library is the focus.

The aim is simple: take the current scientific evidence and turn it into clear, honest steps that a general reader can actually use, without hype and without fear.

How the guides are researched

Every factual claim in a guide is traced to an authoritative source: peer-reviewed studies and systematic reviews, health authorities such as the WHO, NIH, CDC, and NHS, and major professional organizations. Each guide lists its sources, with the date they were accessed, so any reader can check the original.

Claims are verified before a guide is published, and nothing is invented or estimated. Where a figure cannot be confirmed from a reliable source, it is left out. Guides are revisited and re-checked over time, and a last-reviewed date is shown where it applies.

Who writes Vitals Hub

Vitals Hub is created, written, and edited by Michael Harley. It uses one real, accountable byline rather than invented author personas. Michael is not a doctor or a registered clinician, and the guides never pretend otherwise: they are general educational information built from published research and official health guidelines, not personal medical advice.

That honesty is the point. Each guide cites its sources, so the reasoning is transparent and anyone can verify it.

Languages

Guides are originally written in English and then translated into other languages. On a translated guide, a note links back to the original English article, so the source version is always one click away.

Not medical advice

The content on Vitals Hub is for general information and education only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. A qualified healthcare professional should be consulted for any personal health concern.

Contact

A dedicated contact address will be available when the site launches, for questions, corrections, or source suggestions. Accuracy matters here, so corrections are genuinely welcome.
